Repairs of all types of battery and charger

Our engineers are trained to service and repair most makes of battery and charger currently available. We stock the necessary parts required to carry out work on both welded and bolted battery connections. We also stock spares for all popular brands of motive power battery chargers.

We carry out detailed inspections of batteries and chargers on electric truck fleets, and supply detailed written reports that can save operating costs by identifying potential problems before they occur, recommending appropriate preventative maintenance action.

Discharge Capacity Testing

We can carry out capacity testing of both lead acid and nickel cadmium batteries. This facility is especially useful for standby power systems. A written report is supplied that details remaining capacity and predicted life span.

Overhaul Cycling of Nickel-Cadmium Batteries

When nickel cadmium batteries remain on a float charge system for a period of time, they gradually lose their original capacity. By cycling the cells under controlled conditions (as set out by BS 6290) this gradual loss can be delayed, and the accompanying report will indicate individual cell condition.
