Traction Cells BS & DIN.

We can supply motive power batteries in both British Standard and DIN sizes, in a full range of capacities and heights. We can match an existing application or advise on the precise requirement for any application, whether for original equipment or as a replacement.

Monoblocs

We can supply a complete range of six and twelve volt lead acid semi-traction monobloc batteries for use in such applications as powered pallet trucks, industrial cleaning machines and where appropriate electric rivercraft. Mobility vehicles can also be catered for. The monoblocs can be supplied in both conventional and gel electrolyte construction, and also hand-made high cold crank starting batteries for diesel engine and generator starting applications.

Stationary Standby Batteries

We can supply and install batteries for emergency and standby use, such as emergency lighting, fire alarms and sprinkler systems etc. Both in lead acid and nickel cadmium cell types.

Battery Chargers

We can supply a full range of motive power battery chargers to meet all requirements from small low cost units for light applications such as small pallet trucks and cleaning machines, to highly sophisticated micro-processor controlled units capable of self and battery monitoring as well as controlling automatic battery topping up equipment and also electrolyte agitation systems.

Automatic Battery Topping Systems

We can supply automatic topping systems that transform a standard motive power battery with individual filler caps in each cell into a single point filling system with automatic level control. The system lowers maintenance costs while increasing efficiency and safety levels.

Electrolyte Circulation Systems

We can supply electrolyte circulation systems for motive power batteries that are working heavy-duty multi-shift work patterns. The system operates through an air pump controlled by the charger and which is connected via a pipe to each cell. The electrolyte is agitated during the bulk charge period, which precludes the need for a "gassing time" during the charging, and therefore shortens the recycling time.

Demineralised Water Equipment

We can supply systems for connection to the mains water system, which will electrostatically remove dissolved impurities making the water suitable for battery use. This removes the need to store quantities of distilled water, and the system can be used directly into the battery with automatic topping level control on an attached dispensing gun, or via an automatic system fitted to the battery.
