At Pb Batteries we have been supplying batteries, chargers, service and expertise for over 30 years. Pb Batteries are prolific within the supply and installation of batteries for the Narrow Boat market, with the supply of high quality
2v cells and
6v – 12v monoblocs. These are available for Electric & Hybrid Propulsion and for Domestic Electrical use. The domestic electrical use can be directly on 12v, 24v or through an inverter 240v all powered via deep cycle batteries from PB Batteries. Automatic
topping and gas venting systems can be fitted for convenience and safety reasons as a valuable option.
Charging system and ancillary components are available from a large stock at Pb Batteries. We have worked closely with various boat builders and boat conversion companies closely with our design expertise to create the powered system for today’s needs.
For the Day hire fleet where duration is the priority, Pb Batteries have worked closely with the companies running the
Electric Boats to create the most efficient and powerful battery pack correct for each company. With key factors of power, voltage, weight and the duty cycle of the operated electric boats, Pb Batteries are able to draw on the many years of knowledge working closely with electric boats. We work with Private owners, Water Taxies, Ferries, Hotels and Corporate Entertaining companies to make sure the correct battery products are supplied for the most cost effective price. Marine application Pb Batteries are involved with ocean marine craft which includes Yachts, Cross Channel Ferries and Ocean Liners. At Pb Batteries we have been involved in sending batteries across the globe to ports far and wide for new builds,

Pb Batteries have been working within the Rail industry for over 30 years and
have built up a vast knowledge base to be able to help you. With starter batteries for all makes of Loco’s and Carriage Lighting to BR1, BR2 up to BR8 standards. These can be supplied already assembled with plastic or wooden crates to BR Spec and can be supplied loose cells, connectors and shrouds if your existing crates are re-usable. At Pb Batteries we have a mobile service force that is second to none with mobile workshops allowing on site inspections, specification, diagnosis and repairs.

The
battery accessories available from Pb Batteries are all you will require to maintain and run you battery in top condition and SAFELY. Where flooded cells are used we supply goggles, gloves, aprons, hydrometers, eye wash stations, and spillage kits for all sizes. If you require connectors or cables for repair or modification just contact one of our technicians who will be happy to help. Battery and charger plugs are often damaged easily with falling objects etc, so at Pb Batteries we stock a full range of plugs that can be dispatched to you in the post quickly. Pb Batteries offer a wide range of
battery watering equipment, from hand pumps to fully automated topping systems. The range starts with the Flexi Topper a hand pump to create
pressurised container and top the battery with ease. The top of the range is a automatic topping system where all the battery flip top lids are replaces and all the cells are piped together for the water to be pumped into the cells and shut off without intervention when at the correct level. All of these systems are not high cost items and can be fitted to existing batteries just ask to see if we can help you.
